Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you order from us online, in plain language.

Last updated: 13 October 2026

01About these terms

These terms apply to orders placed with Al Daouk Sweets through this website. By placing an order, you agree to them, together with our Privacy Policy and our Shipping & Returns policy.

An order placed online is an electronic contract, recognised under Lebanese Law No. 81/2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data.

02Our products

Our sweets are made by hand, so each piece may differ slightly in shape, size and colour from the photographs, which are for illustration.

Most of our sweets contain nuts and dairy, and all are prepared in a kitchen that handles all major allergens. If you have an allergy, please check the ingredients on the product page and contact us before ordering.

03Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Any delivery charge for your order is shown at checkout before you confirm it.

We accept card payment for every order, processed by BLOM Bank through Cybersource, and cash on delivery for orders delivered within Lebanon. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the amount and may charge its own fees.

If a price is shown incorrectly because of an obvious error, we will contact you before preparing the order, and you may cancel it.

04Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, we send you a confirmation by email. For card orders, the order is confirmed once the bank has authorised the payment.

We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, we cannot deliver to the address given, or we suspect fraud. If you have already paid, we will refund you in full.

05Delivery

We deliver within Lebanon with our own team, and to other countries with DHL Express. Delivery times are estimates.

Please make sure the address and phone number you give us are correct, and that someone is available to receive the order, as our sweets are perishable. Our Shipping & Returns policy gives the details.

06Changes and cancellations

Every order is prepared fresh, so please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel it. We can usually make changes before preparation begins. Once an order has been prepared or dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled.

07Returns and refunds

Our sweets are perishable food products and cannot be returned once delivered. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, tell us promptly, as described in our Shipping & Returns policy, and we will offer a replacement or a refund.

Refunds for card payments are made to the card used for the order. How long they take to appear depends on your bank.

08Website content

The Al Daouk name, logo, photographs and text on this website belong to Al Daouk Sweets or are used with permission. Please do not reproduce them without our written consent.

09Our responsibility

We take care to describe our products accurately and to deliver them in good condition. To the extent Lebanese law allows, we are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen, or for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures or carrier disruption.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Lebanese law.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. We will always try to resolve a concern with you directly first. If we cannot, the competent Lebanese courts will decide the dispute.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this page when you placed it.
